alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet celebrated the launch of its capsule collection with Keith Haring at party in Chelsea. Keith Haring's bold graphics and cutouts bounced off the walls, the Skate Kitchen girls rode their skateboards on a Haring half-pipe in the middle of the room, and guests were invited to play throwback arcade games with colorful cocktails in hand. Bendet celebrated this launch with friends including Paris Jackson, Nicky Hilton, and Huma Abedin, all of whom wore the vibrant collection with pride.
The interactive event was a huge hit where attendees were encouraged to incorporate their own personal flare by coloring Keith Haring graphics on a white backdrop, which created yet another instagrammable moment. Models and mannequins outfitted in the collection floated around the room as The Dolls played crowd favorite old school 80's hits. Every detail from vintage TV screens sporting Keith Haring graphics, a life-size Light Bright, and paint buckets filled with flowers on each table felt like the perfect nod to Keith Haring's artistic spirit.
"I have always been a fan of Keith Haring's work-the colors and graphics," says Bendet. "He was also one of the first artists to advance social causes and I think at this time in our world it's especially important to support artists who have made a difference."
