Meet one of the artists behind the Spring 2018 show.

Francesca Dimattio is best known for her paintings that weave architecture and geometric elements, as a means to revamp the concept of space, with design, cultural, and historical references, usually blending various patterns, textures, and imagery to juxtapose rigid and delicate components for an unexpectedly feminine finished product. Stacey Bendet used those intricacies to create collaged prints including floral and Moroccan inspired patterns mixed with pops of bold neon colors. The Jeannie Bow Collar blouse, mixing three different prints, is paired with the rainbow striped Katz Sunburst skirt, eight unique prints are engineered together to create the beautiful Clementine (Tuck Sleeve Tiered) maxi, and the vintage inspired pattern donned by the Lynn kimono compliments, not clashes, with the mosaic tile inspired Shannon skirt, both of which are given an added boldness with neon pumps and silk chokers for a romantic rock n’ roll vibe.

The Feminist Hallway, part of The Collage Lobby and created from Bendet’s own artwork, featured all white ensembles, made equal parts soft and strong with ruffles and pleats paired with edgy accessories like black leather chokers and black strappy platform sandals.
